Customers overview

Your customers live in three services: Hotspot, PPPoE and Statics. Each service has its own pages for adding and managing customers. The Customers area (/dashboard/customers) is where you look across all of them: find someone when you don’t know which service they’re on, see who signed up recently, and spot who has gone quiet.

Page Path What it shows
Customers /dashboard/customers A quick view with PPPoE and Hotspot tabs, a short table for each, and Expand to open the full list.
All Customers /dashboard/customers/all One list of every Hotspot, PPPoE and Static customer.
New Customers /dashboard/customers/new Customers who registered in the last 7, 15 or 30 days.
Inactive /dashboard/customers/inactive Customers who were seen before but not for more than 7, 15 or 30 days.
Hotspot /dashboard/customers/hotspot All hotspot customers, with Export to Excel.
PPPoE /dashboard/customers/pppoe All PPPoE customers, with Export to Excel.

The Hotspot and PPPoE pages only appear when those services are switched on in your dashboard preferences. Static customers appear in All, New and Inactive; their own list is under Statics.

Who can see it: owners, customer admins and customer readers. Readers can look but not change anything.

  • Find a customer by name, phone, email, username, MAC address or account number. See Finding customers.
  • Open a customer’s page to see their status, payments and sessions, and act on their account. See Customer pages.
  • Bring customers in from a spreadsheet or from your router when you move to ISPMan. See Importing customers.
  • Follow up: use New Customers to welcome sign-ups, and Inactive to win back customers who stopped coming.

New customers are added inside their service, not here:

  • PPPoE: Services → PPPoEs → Add PPPoE Customer. See PPPoE.
  • Static: Statics → Customers → Add Static Customer. See Statics.
  • Hotspot customers usually create themselves when they buy on your captive portal. See Hotspot.

If your customers use the mobile app, Comms → App Customers shows who is online in the app right now, and lets you Chat with them. That page belongs to Comms; see Communication.
