Static customers

Each static customer has a fixed IP on one router, a PPPoE package (for price, speed and period), a subscription expiry, and a wallet with a Pay to account number. You manage them from Statics → Customers (/dashboard/statics/customers).

  1. Go to Statics → Customers and click Add Static Customer. The dialog is titled Create a static (fixed-IP) customer.

  2. Fill in the form:

    Field Notes
    Name Required.
Custom Account Number Optional, your own reference such as ACC-12345.
Fixed IP Address (optional) Leave blank to take the next free IP from the router’s static network.
MAC Address Optional, for MAC binding.
Phone and E-Mail Used for SMS and payment prompts.
Package (PPPoE plan) Sets price, speed and period.
Router Device The router this customer is on. Needed to auto-assign an IP.
Installation Fee (one-time, optional) Charged once with the first package payment, on top of the price.
Location, Branch, Notes Optional. Branch only shows when branches are on.
  3. Save. You’ll see “Static customer created” and land on the customer’s page.

If you have bound a Static Welcome SMS template, the customer gets a welcome message.

If the IP can’t be assigned you’ll see one of these:

  • “No free IPs left in this device’s static network. Update it in Statics → Settings.”
  • “No static network configured for this device. Set one in Statics → Settings.”
  • “Select a router device before auto-assigning an IP.”

Click Import for Import static (fixed-IP) customers. Upload a CSV or Excel file, or paste CSV text. Download template CSV gives you a file with the right headers.

Supported columns: name (required), ip_address (blank = auto-assign), mac_address, account_number, phone_number, email, location, package (name or id), device (name or id), branch, paid_until (YYYY-MM-DD), negotiated_price, notes, is_free (true/false).

You can also set a Paid Until for All Customers, Device for All Customers and Package for All Customers for rows that leave them out.

Click Preview to see what will happen to each row before anything is saved. Rows marked Error are skipped. Customers that already exist (same IP on the device, or same account number) only get their expiry updated. When you’re happy, click Import N customer(s).

To build the file from a router that already has static clients, see Importing customers.

Open a customer to see cards for Subscription, Assignment, IP Configuration (IP, netmask and gateway to set on the customer’s router), Last Router Action, Wallet and Connectivity (online or offline, last seen). Further down are RADIUS Accounting Logs (usage reported by the router) and Connection Jobs (scheduled connect and disconnect attempts for this customer).

Button What it does

STK Push Sends a payment request to the customer’s phone.
Connect now Grants access for a chosen duration (same choices as Renew), from the current expiry.
Disconnect Expires the subscription and blocks the IP. It stays offline until you connect or renew again.
Send SMS Sends a message, optionally from a template.
Reset Conn. Removes the customer from the router (access entry, speed queue and MAC binding), then re-applies them if their subscription is still active. The account is not changed.
Speed Override Sets a permanent speed in place of the package speed.
Flight Speed Changes the speed for a chosen time, then falls back automatically.
Retry router Tries the last router action again, for example after the router was offline.
Deactivate / Activate Deactivating expires the subscription and blocks the IP until you activate and connect them again.
Edit Change name, IP address, MAC, phone, email, location, package, device and notes.
Convert to PPPoE Creates a PPPoE account (enter a PPPoE Username and optionally a password), moves the wallet to it and archives the static customer. A customer converted from PPPoE before gets their original PPPoE account back. The customer must have a package.
Delete Permanently deletes the customer and cancels their scheduled router actions. This cannot be undone.
